Easter Basket Ideas

Teen/Tween Girls

I posted an idea list for Teen/Tween Boys earlier this week. My personal opinion is that you all probably don’t need a list for girls….They’re EASY! At least I think they are. Maybe because I’m a girl so I know what I wanted when I was a teenager.

Here’s a pretty basic list for teen girls! I have linked a few items in my Amazon Store if you like to do the convenient shipped to your door option! Yes Please!

easter basket ideas for teen tween girls

1. Money

Girls are really no different than boys at this age. They want money! Pretty sure my kids think I have an endless supply. Babies are cheap (even with all the diapers)….Teens are EXPENSIVE! I do make them work for their money on Easter. Stuff those plastic eggs with loose change and I guarantee they will join in the egg hunt fun!

2. Gift Cards

Much like money, gift cards are always a good option. Some ideas: Starbucks (put it in a Fancy Starbucks cup and you’re set), Target, Ulta, their favorite clothing store…..you really can’t go wrong.

3. Clothes

Every teen/tween girl is into fashion. I bet they have their eye on a new pair of shorts for spring/summer. A new swimming suit would be a great option, too!

4. Bath and Body

We keep our products nontoxic, but still indulge in the froo-froo scents like what you might get at those, give me a headache the second I walk past, mall stores. They products even look like they come from “that store”, but WITHOUT the hormone disrupters!! Of course, there’s always razor refills, loofas, etc…Use the imagination.

5. Hair

See above about our nontoxic products…same for all of our hair “stuff”. Do you know what’s back……SCRUNCHIES!!!! And you can buy them in bulk on Amazon for cheap! We did that for Christmas. Every color you could imagine! They have ones with cute little bows on them, too! Name brand headbands seem to be all the rage right now, too!

6. Beauty

We also shop for all of our makeup from the same nontoxic store! Okay, I do go into Ulta for my girls, BUT I’m very picky with what I purchase and do my research. If you want to know more about our nontoxic store……click here.

7. Snacks

Snacks is always a great option, too. CHOCOLATE!!! Maybe a few bottles of their favorite “treat’ drink. My daughter loves bottled Starbucks Frappuccinos and Arnold Palmers.

8. Fancy Cups

My daughter is all about taking her fancy drink to school in the morning. You’d think she was 30! I’m not kidding, she takes an insulated Starbucks cup to the bus stop every morning. I think a new fun cup with a Starbucks gift card would be great!

9. Hobbies

If she plays sports or dances, you have tons of options. Art supplies for the budding artist. Hopefully your tween is out of the slime phase, but a gallon of glue is always a safe option.

10. Socks/Underwear

I think this one just has to be on the list forever! Thanks to my mom for starting the tradition. It just makes this whole “momming” thing fun when you can purposely annoy your kids for fun! Yes, she will hate opening underwear and socks in plastic eggs, BUT she’ll remember it for a lifetime and hopefully carry the tradition on to her kids!

Girls are Easy

This was a pretty broad list, but in all seriousness, if you just walk the health and beauty section at Target you could more than fill an Easter basket! Check out my Amazon favorites for those of you that like the online shopping convenience! Yeah, that’s me. I don’t get out much!

Haha i love the underwear and socks on these lists. Now at almost 30 i wish someone got them for me so I never run out of cute ones. Especially that the socks nowadays are little works of art so it’s really cool.
