Spring Cleaning ~ Week 1

It’s MARCH!!! Don’t get me wrong, I’m beyond ready for some warmth, sunshine, and flowers, BUT wasn’t it just Christmas?? With 4 weeks in March, I’m using this month to Spring Clean, a little at a time!

Bathrooms

Daily bathroom cleaning is definitely a thing around here with kids (including a newly potty trained boy), BUT I fully admit that the deep cleaning doesn’t happen like it should. Here’s my cheat sheet for deep cleaning the bathrooms this week….

Laundry Room/Mud Room

Now, I do laundry daily!! At least one load, usually two. There area a lot of bodies in this house and I’ve found that doing a little every day really helps. I know one mom with a large family that has a laundry day once a week. Ya’ll that’s ALL SHE DOES that day. That would never work for me. Find what works for you, but get it done! Here’s my cheat sheet for the dreaded laundry area (which is also my mud room)…

Know What’s In Your Products

I won’t get too much into this, BUT if you’ve been around me for any amount of time at all, you know that I am passionate about lung health. You can find my lung stories here, here, and here. And I ended up back in the hospital this past December with it happening AGAIN! They did full surgery this last time and “glued” my lung up! We showed my lung who’s boss. With all of that in mind, I’ve taken lung health to a new extreme. We choose to use cleaners that are natural and won’t damage our lungs. They are safe for my kiddos to use (no childproof caps necessary). Our bleach alternative is the only botanical EPA/FDA approved for use in school and hospitals. It kills EVERYTHING! I could do a whole post on Solugard, but I’ll save that for another time. I’d love to share more with you. Join my facebook group and check out the store we shop from here. You can also read a little more about it here.

Definitely copying your list! I am currently nesting and this is perfect for me to have a little structure and not just be all over the place lol.
